The following are improvements that are to be made to the Evacuation Traffic Information System (ETIS):

Routine Creation for State Officials to uncommit an entire states evacuation. Added South Caroline one-way plan for Creation of a report called Actual vs. Estimated which displays estimated roadway volume against traffic count informaiton that has been input by users. Update ETIS so that South Carolina real-time traffic data can be automatically downloaded from a South Carolina internet site and displayed on ETIS. Including an option to view a table showing the counter ID, road ID, normal and current vehicle speed, normal and current traffic and an indicator to show how current traffic compares to normal traffic and to the estimated traffic predicted in the hurricane evacuation studies. ETIS will include a feature to display the number of shelters in each of the States that are willing to provide that data. Continue work on improving user friendliness of ETIS by improving appearance, performance and menu selections of the model. Develop a query capability that allows users to view traffic data by state. Develop a query capability that allows users to view traffic volumes by corridor. Develop a query capability that allows users to view destination percentages by city.
